As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a government location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a secure environment for staff and visitors. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate professionally, and respond to security-related concerns with integrity. Join Allied Universal's agile, reliable, and innovative team, where a caring culture and teamwork put people first.Position Type: Full TimePay Rate: $18.87 / HourJob Schedule:DayTimeThur 12:00 AM - 08:00 AMFri 12:00 AM - 08:00 AMSat 12:00 AM - 08:00 AMSun 12:00 AM - 08:00 AMWhat You'll Do:Provide customer service to clients, visitors, staff, and individuals receiving services by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.Respond to incidents, disturbances, medical emergencies, and other critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and notification procedures.Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of assigned areas, building perimeters, entrances, common spaces, and exterior grounds to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.Monitor access points and visitor activity, assist with maintaining orderly entry procedures, and report unauthorized access or suspicious activity to appropriate personnel.Prepare accurate incident reports, patrol logs, and other required documentation in accordance with site-specific policies and Allied Universal procedures.Minimum Requirements:Possess a New York State Security Guard License.Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.Why Join Us:Smart Tools: Access to our exclusive technology to view and claim additional shifts to earn more.Career Growth: Get paid training and access to career growth opportunities.Financial and Health Benefits: Enjoy access to a retirement savings plan, plus medical, dental, vision, basic life and AD&D, and disability insurance.Exclusive Perks: Enjoy discounts on top brands and services through our Perks Program.Allied Universal® is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
