As an Unarmed Security Officer at a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will monitor activity, conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support access control functions. Join Allied Universal, where an agile, reliable, and innovative team puts people first, delivers through teamwork, and acts with integrity.Position Type: Full TimePay Rate: $24.84 / HourJob Schedule:Day TimeMon 04:00 PM - 12:30 AMTue 04:00 PM - 12:30 AMWed 04:00 PM - 12:30 AMSat 08:00 AM - 04:30 PMSun 08:00 AM - 04:30 PMWhat You'll Do:Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors at a technology infrastructure location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established escalation and reporting procedures.Conduct regular and random patrols of interior areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, entry points, and perimeter areas to help identify unusual conditions and help deter unauthorized activity.Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed, and report security-related concerns to site leadership and/or appropriate responders.Complete accurate activity logs, incident reports, and shift documentation while communicating professionally with client representatives and Allied Universal leadership.Minimum Requirements:At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.Customer service experience is preferred.A Guard Card or license is preferred.Comfortably using a computer or tablet is preferred.Access control and badge experience is preferred.Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.Why Join Us:Smart Tools: Access to our exclusive technology to view and claim additional shifts to earn more.Career Growth: Get paid training and access to career growth opportunities.Financial and Health Benefits: Enjoy access to a retirement savings plan, plus medical, dental, vision, basic life and AD&D, and disability insurance.Exclusive Perks: Enjoy discounts on top brands and services through our Perks Program.
