Security GuardPosition at JBS USALocation: Greeley BeefDESCRIPTION:Monitors plant activity.Hourly rounds (checking trailer temps, room temps, and gates).Monitor all associates entering and exiting building including car traffic.Weight master scales, weighing trailers in and out.Answering switchboard after hours.Billing loads.Follow and implement company policies.Operate company owned vehiclesInspect trailers for cleanliness and operabilityReceive shipments of supplies and raw materialsQUALIFICATIONS:Ability to read and write and speak in EnglishStrong computer skills preferredAbility to walk more than one mile, on varying terrain, in all weather and up/down stairsAbility to perform assigned tasks without direct supervisionAbility to strive in an independent work environmentAbility to communicate effectively under stressAttention to detailProfessional attitudeAbility to work any shiftSecurity experience a plusMinimum High School diploma or GEDThe applicant who fills this position will be eligible for the following compensation and benefits:Benefits: Vision, Medical, and Dental coverage begin after 60 days of employment;Paid time off: sick leave, vacation, and 6 company observed holidays;401(k): eligible after 1st day of employment including company match which begins after the first year of service and follows the company vesting scheduleBase pay of $ 18.75 / hrThe company is dedicated to ensuring a safe and secure environment for our team members and visitors.
