Goldbelt Security partners with a diverse array of trusted vendors to quickly deliver the products and services needed to fulfill customers' missions.The Security Guard I is responsible for supporting basic security operations to protect personnel, assets, and property at assigned locations. Working under close supervision, this position assists with site monitoring, access control, and visitor screening to ensure a safe environment for employees and guests.QualificationsNecessary Skills and Knowledge:Good customer service skillsStrong written and verbal communication skillsAbility to follow verbal and written instructionsBasic report writing and record-keeping skillsDemonstrated reliability and professionalismAbility to remain calm under pressureMinimum Qualifications:High School Diploma or GEDMust be at least 21 years of ageAt least 6 months of experience in customer service or public interactionMilitary service in a related field may substitute for required experience on a year-for-year basisEligible for State of Alaska Security Guard licenseAbility to pass a background check and drug screeningValid Driver's License required and clean recordObtain CPR and First Aid certification within 3 months of hirePreferred Qualifications:Prior security, law enforcement, or military experience preferredPay and Benefits: At Goldbelt, we value and reward our team's dedication and hard work.
