As an Access Control Officer at a dynamic logistics and distribution location, you will help maintain a secure environment by managing entry points, verifying credentials, monitoring access activity, and assisting visitors and employees with professionalism. Join Allied Universal, where agile, reliable, innovative teams put people first and act with integrity.Position Type: Part TimePay Rate: $18.75 / HourJob Schedule:DayTime Thur 10:00 PM - 06:30 AM Fri 10:00 PM - 06:30 AMWhat You'll Do:Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and employees while carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.Monitor and control access points for a logistics and distribution location, verifying credentials, documenting visitor and vehicle entries, and directing authorized personnel to designated areas.Assist with maintaining accurate access logs, delivery and trailer activity records, and other security-related documentation in accordance with site procedures.Respond to incidents, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating matters through established communication channels.Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility, business areas, parking areas, loading zones, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.Minimum Requirements:Access control and badge experience is preferred.Comfortably using a computer or tablet is preferred.A guard card or license is preferred.Customer service experience is preferred.Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.Why Join Us:Smart Tools: Access to our exclusive technology to view and claim additional shifts to earn more.Career Growth: Get paid training and access to career growth opportunities.Financial Benefits: Participate in our retirement savings plan to invest in your future.Exclusive Perks: Enjoy discounts on top brands and services through our Perks Program.PPO 14417ClosingAllied Universal® is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
