As an Unarmed Security Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas at a government services location, maintaining a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. You will conduct routine patrols, support access control, respond to incidents, and provide professional customer service and communication. Join a caring, reliable team that puts people first, works together, and acts with integrity.Position Type: Part TimePay Rate: $18.87 / HourJob Schedule:DayTimeTue 11:00 PM - 07:00 AMWed 11:00 PM - 07:00 AMThur 11:00 PM - 07:00 AMWhat You'll Do:Provide customer service to individuals, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at a government services location.Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established procedures and reporting requirements.Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of assigned areas, entrances, common spaces, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify authorized entry as directed, and report suspicious activity, hazards, or policy violations to appropriate personnel.Maintain accurate daily activity reports, incident documentation, and shift communications in accordance with site requirements.Minimum Requirements:Possess a New York State Security Guard License.Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.Why Join Us:Smart Tools: Access to our exclusive technology to view and claim additional shifts to earn more.Career Growth: Get paid training and access to career growth opportunities.Financial Benefits: Participate in our retirement savings plan to invest in your future.Exclusive Perks: Enjoy discounts on top brands and services through our Perks Program.Licensed by the New York State Department of State
