As an Unarmed Security Officer at a chemical and petrochemical location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment through exceptional customer service and communication. This driving position offers the opportunity to represent Allied Universal's agile, reliable, innovative, and people-first culture while working with integrity and teamwork.Position Type: Part TimePay Rate: $14.75 / HourJob Schedule:Day Time Wed 11:00 AM - 05:00 PM Fri 05:00 AM - 05:00 PMWhat You'll Do:Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate at a chemical and petrochemical location.Respond to incidents, alarms, hazardous-material concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site protocols and notifying appropriate personnel.Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, process areas, parking areas, access points, and the perimeter to help identify unusual conditions and help deter unauthorized activity.Monitor access control points, verify credentials as directed, maintain visitor and contractor logs, and report access-related concerns in accordance with site procedures.Document patrols, incidents, observations, and communications accurately and promptly, and support Allied Universal and site personnel during emergency response activities.Minimum Requirements:A valid driver's license is required in the state where the job is located.Possess a TSA-issued TWIC.Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.Customer service experience is preferred.Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.Why Join Us:Smart Tools: Access to our exclusive technology to view and claim additional shifts to earn more.Career Growth: Get paid training and access to career growth opportunities.Financial Benefits: Participate in our retirement savings plan to invest in your future.Exclusive Perks: Enjoy discounts on top brands and services through our Perks Program.Allied Universal® is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
