As an Unarmed Security Officer at a utilities location, you will conduct routine vehicle patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, monitor assigned areas, and provide outstanding customer service. This driving position requires a valid driver's license. Join Allied Universal and contribute to a caring, agile, reliable, and innovative team that puts people first and acts with integrity.Position Type: Part TimePay Rate: $18.22 / HourJob Schedule:DayTimeSat04:00 PM - 12:00 AMSun04:00 PM - 12:00 AMWhat You'll Do:Provide customer service to utility location personnel, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating issues according to site procedures.Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of utility facilities, buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.Monitor access points and verify authorization for personnel, visitors, vendors, and/or contractors in accordance with site requirements.Document patrols, incidents, observations, and security-related concerns accurately and report maintenance, operational, or access-control issues to appropriate site contacts.Minimum Requirements:A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.Access control and badge experience is preferred.Customer service experience is preferred.Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.Why Join Us:Smart Tools: Access to our exclusive technology to view and claim additional shifts to earn more.Career Growth: Get paid training and access to career growth opportunities.Financial Benefits: Participate in our retirement savings plan to invest in your future.Exclusive Perks: Enjoy discounts on top brands and services through our Perks Program.Allied Universal® is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
