As an Access Control Security Professional at a logistics and distribution location, you will help manage site entry, verify credentials, monitor access points, and maintain clear records using computer or tablet systems. You will remain visible, provide outstanding customer service, communicate professionally with visitors and team members, and report security-related concerns. Join Allied Universal, where agility, reliability, innovation, teamwork, integrity, and a people-first culture support meaningful work.Position Type: Part TimePay Rate: $20.00 / HourJob Schedule:DayTimeSat05:00 AM - 01:00 PMSun05:00 AM - 01:00 PMWhat You'll Do:Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and employees by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access-control policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.Monitor and control access to the logistics and distribution location by verifying credentials, screening visitors and contractors, issuing temporary access badges, and maintaining accurate entry and exit records.Observe vehicle and pedestrian traffic at gates, docks, and other designated access points; communicate access instructions and report unusual activity to appropriate personnel.Respond to incidents, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site-specific procedures and notifying appropriate contacts.Conduct regular and random patrols of designated interior areas, exterior grounds, perimeter points, parking areas, and loading zones to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.Minimum Requirements:At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.At this site there are limited on-site facilities such as portable toilets and rustic guard shacks.A guard card or license is preferred.Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.Access control and badge experience is preferred.Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.Why Join Us:Smart Tools: Access to our exclusive technology to view and claim additional shifts to earn more.Career Growth: Get paid training and access to career growth opportunities.Financial Benefits: Participate in our retirement savings plan to invest in your future.Exclusive Perks: Enjoy discounts on top brands and services through our Perks Program.ClosingAllied Universal® is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
