Security GuardJoin St. Joseph Hospital, a proud member of Catholic Health, and help ensure a safe, secure, and welcoming environment for all who enter our doors. Located in Bethpage, NY, St. Joseph is a 203-bed, community-focused hospital.Job Responsibilities- Responding promptly to emergencies and security incidents- Controlling facility access and ensuring only authorized personnel enter- Conducting regular patrols of buildings, grounds, and parking areas- Assisting with fire safety inspections and staff education- Providing courteous support and assistance to patients, staff, and visitors- Preparing clear and timely incident reportsJob Requirements- High School diploma or equivalent required- NYS Security Guard License OR Active Duty Law Enforcement required- Valid NYS Driver's License required- BLS & AED Certification required- One year of security experience preferred (hospital setting a plus)- Strong communication and interpersonal skillsWhy Join Us- Competitive pay with shift differentials- Flexible scheduling to fit your lifestyle- Supportive, team-oriented environment- Opportunities to gain experience and grow within the organizationBe part of something meaningful.
