Security Guard PositionOasis at the Crescent is seeking a reliable and professional Security Guard to help maintain a safe and welcoming environment for our residents, staff, and visitors. This role is ideal for someone who is calm under pressure, attentive, and takes pride in keeping others safe.ResponsibilitiesPatrol interior and exterior areas of the facilityMonitor entrances, exits, and visitor activityRespond promptly to incidents, disturbances, and emergenciesDe-escalate situations in a professional mannerEnforce visitor policies and facility proceduresMonitor security systems (cameras, alarms)Document incidents and maintain accurate daily reportsAssist residents, staff, and visitors as neededSupport emergency procedures when requiredPhysical Requirements:Ability to walk, stand, and patrol the facility for long periods.Must be able to lift and move up to 50 pounds if necessary (e.g., assisting with emergency evacuations).Ability to sit or stand for extended periods, as required during shifts.QualificationsPrior security, law enforcement, or military experience preferredStrong communication and judgment skillsAbility to remain calm and professional in all situationsDependable and able to work independentlyFlexible availabilityMust meet all applicable state requirements for security personnel, including maintaining any required permits or certifications.Permit to carrySchedule & PayFull-Time Shifts Available: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM or 7:00 PM – 7:00 AMPay Range: $17 – $25/hour (based on experience)What We OfferCompetitive payStable full-time shiftsSupportive team environmentOpportunity to work in a meaningful healthcare setting
