Be part of an extraordinary life!The Arlington of Naples is recruiting for a hospitality focused Security Guard to join our team!Position Title: Security GuardDepartment: Plant OperationsExempt Status: Non-ExemptSupervisor: Director of Facility ServicesGeneral Summary: The Security Officer is responsible for maintaining a safe, secure, and welcoming environment for residents, visitors, and staff. This role combines front-line security responsibilities with emergency medical response, ensuring prompt, professional care during medical incidents while upholding The Arlington's hospitality standards. This position serves as a first responder for medical and facility emergencies and plays a vital role in resident safety, emergency preparedness, and community support.Principal Duties:Essential Job Duties:Greet and welcome all residents, visitors, vendors, and contractors in a warm, professional, and hospitable manner.Verify, document, and monitor the presence of all third-party contractors, visitors, and vendors entering the community, ensuring proper access and direction.Deliver exceptional customer service to all individuals entering and leaving the premises, ensuring a positive and respectful experience.Respond promptly to fire alarms, emergency calls, and security incidents throughout the community.Conduct scheduled patrols and security rounds inside and outside the buildings to maintain a safe and secure environment for residents and property.Develop and maintain positive working relationships with residents, family members, visitors, and team members to ensure security and emergency procedures meet community needs.Assist with special security needs involving employees, visitors, and residents as situations arise.Maintain entrances, exits, and walkways to ensure safe passage at all times; remove snow and debris from exit areas as needed.Complete written incidents and shift reports detailing security, safety, or medical events that require administrative awareness.Perform duties in accordance with established policies, procedures, and priorities set by the supervisor.Hospitality Focus:We greet residents, employees and guests warmly, by name and with a smile.We treat everyone with courteous respect.We strive to anticipate resident, employee and guest needs and act accordingly.We listen and respond enthusiastically in a timely manner.We hold ourselves and one another accountable.We embrace and value our differences.We make residents, employees and guests feel important.We ask "Is there anything else I can do for you?"We maintain high levels of professionalism, both in conduct and appearance, at all times.We pay attention to details.Wellness Focus:The Arlington employees are expected to promote a healthy community culture for all residents and employees.
