Security GuardAt Pilgrim's, Safety Is A Condition, which means the safety of our team members comes first - always.Purpose and Scope/General Summary: We are looking for a 3rd shift security guard, Pilgrim's Russellville, AL to be part of the security team, to monitor traffic in and out of the plant. Inspect trailers and monitor the parking lot activity.Responsibilities:Monitors plant activity.Hourly rounds (checking trailer temps, room temps, and gates).Monitor all associates entering and exiting buildings including car traffic.Weight master scales, weighing trailers in and out.Answering switchboard after hours.Billing loads.Follow and implement company policies.Operate company owned vehiclesInspect trailers for cleanliness and operabilityReceive shipments of supplies and raw materialsOther duties as assignedWhat You'll Need:Ability to read and write and speak in EnglishStrong computer skills preferredAbility to walk more than one mile, on varying terrain, in all weather and up/downstairsAbility to perform assigned tasks without direct supervisionAbility to communicate effectively under stressAttention to detailProfessional attitudeAbility to work any shiftSecurity experience a plusMinimum High School Diploma or GEDWhy Work for Pilgrim's?Schedule: Varies Shifts are 3rd shift 11PM-7AMBenefits: Vision, Medical, and Dental coverage begin after 60 days of employment.Paid Time Off: Sick leave, vacation, company observed holidays or, any other statutorily required paid leave.401(k): company match begins after the first year of service and follows the company vesting schedule.Base salary range of $29,787.00-$33,510.60 (Biweekly pay period)Career Development: Our company is dedicated to supporting professional growth by offering continuous learning opportunities and a focus on career growth through various learning and development programs.Better FuturesThe Company is dedicated to ensuring a safe and secure environment for our team members and visitors.
