Dependable Security Guard NeededFondomonte is seeking a dependable security guard to help maintain a safe and secure environment at our farming and hay press facility. The Security Guard is responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for employees and visitors by monitoring access, activity, and company property from the assigned security post. Security Guards help prevent loss and damage by identifying and reporting irregularities to their direct supervisor and site management, while conducting facility patrols as assigned or needed.Key ResponsibilitiesMonitor and control property access; ensure only authorized personnel enter the siteMaintain visitor and delivery logsAssist vendors with check-in proceduresConduct foot patrols to monitor for safety hazards, suspicious activity, or policy violationsInspect buildings, doors, and gates to ensure securityEnforce company Health & Safety policiesDocument incidents and report concerns to managementProvide assistance and direction to employees and visitorsQualificationsMust be 18 years or olderHigh School Diploma or GED preferredPrior security experience preferred but not required (training provided)Strong communication and customer service skillsAbility to work flexible shifts, including weekends if neededAbility to work outdoors in all weather conditionsPhysically capable of standing and walking for extended periodsProfessional demeanor and ability to work independentlyMust successfully pass a pre-employment drug screening and any other required pre-employment screenings, consistent with California lawWork EnvironmentThis role requires working outdoors and may involve walking, standing, and performing physical tasks.Starting Pay Rate - $16.00-$18.00/HRThis position offers up to 40 hours per week.Equal Employment Opportunity StatementFondomonte California, LLC is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
