Security Officer – San Diego (Unarmed)Elite Security & Staffing is now hiring licensed Unarmed Security Officers to work exciting events and venues across San Diego County, including the Del Mar Fair, San Diego State University, Petco Park, and other premier locations.If you're looking for flexible scheduling, a professional team environment, and opportunities to grow your security career, we'd love to hear from you.Position OverviewAs a Security Officer, you will help maintain a safe, secure, and welcoming environment for guests, staff, vendors, and clients at a variety of events and venues.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide excellent customer service to guests, clients, and vendorsMaintain a strong security presence through standing and walking patrolsConduct bag checks and enforce venue policiesProtect client property and ensure a safe environmentRespond to incidents and emergencies following company proceduresObserve, report, and document incidents accuratelyCommunicate clearly with supervisors, team members, and venue staffMake sound decisions in fast-paced environmentsQualificationsMust be 18 years or older.Must hold a valid California Security Guard Card & BSIS training required.Must be authorized to work in the U.S.Must complete all required training (company and state).Must have reliable transportation to job sites.Must be dependable, professional, and flexible.Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods of time.No visible tattoos on face, neck, or hands permitted.ScheduleFlexible scheduling based on events and client needs.Shifts may include day, swing, graveyard, weekends, and holidays.Hours and rate of pay can vary by venue and event.Pay & BenefitsStarting pay range: $17.75-$18:00 hr.Direct deposit availableOpportunities for additional event assignmentsSupportive, professional team environmentCareer growth and advancement opportunitiesCompensation DisclosureThe posted pay rate is a good-faith estimate based on expected qualifications.
