As an Access Control Officer in a manufacturing and industrial location, you will help maintain a secure environment by managing entry points, verifying credentials, issuing badges, and monitoring access activity. You will remain visible, communicate professionally with employees and visitors, and help address security-related concerns while delivering outstanding customer service. Join Allied Universal's agile, reliable, and innovative team, where a caring culture, teamwork, and integrity put people first.Position Type: Full TimePay Rate: $18.50 / HourJob Schedule:Day TimeMon 02:00 PM - 10:00 PMTue 02:00 PM - 10:00 PMFri 02:00 PM - 10:00 PMSat 02:00 PM - 10:00 PMSun 02:00 PM - 10:00 PMWhat You'll Do:Provide customer service to personnel, contractors, and visitors by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access-control policies, and emergency-response activities at an industrial manufacturing location.Monitor and control access to the facility by verifying identification, processing visitor and contractor entries, issuing credentials as authorized, and maintaining accurate access records.Operate access-control systems, cameras, alarms, and communication equipment; report access issues, suspicious activity, and equipment concerns according to site procedures.Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, communicating with site contacts and emergency responders as appropriate.Conduct regular and random patrols of entry points, perimeter areas, parking locations, and assigned industrial facilities to help to deter unauthorized access and identify security-related concerns.Minimum Requirements:At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.Access control and badge experience is preferred.Customer service experience is preferred.Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.Why Join Us:Smart Tools: Access to our exclusive technology to view and claim additional shifts to earn more.Career Growth: Get paid training and access to career growth opportunities.Financial and Health Benefits: Enjoy access to a retirement savings plan, plus medical, dental, vision, basic life and AD&D, and disability insurance.Exclusive Perks: Enjoy discounts on top brands and services through our Perks Program.ClosingAllied Universal® is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
