Surveillance Security OfficerGardaWorld Security Services is now hiring a Surveillance Security Officer in Syracuse, NY. This part-time position is scheduled for Friday and Saturday, 9pm to 5am, with a competitive hourly wage of $19.73. Career growth opportunities are available at GardaWorld, and uniforms are provided at no cost.Responsibilities of a Surveillance Security Guard include:Monitoring security systems to detect any suspicious activityDocumenting observed events and incidents, writing detailed reportsResponding quickly to incidents or potential threatsConducting regular patrols to ensure the safety of the premisesControlling access to secure areas and verifying the identities of visitorsAnalyzing security systems to identify potential vulnerabilities or malfunctionsCollaborating with law enforcement in case of serious situations or emergenciesEnsuring the safety and protection of individuals and propertyQualifications of a Surveillance Security Guard include:Authorization to work in the U.S.Documentation of a High School Diploma or GEDAbility to pass an extensive screening processStrong report writing skillsSharp visual activity and exceptional concentration skillsStrong proficiency with technologySecurity, Military, Law Enforcement experience is a plusState license if requiredGardaWorld Security remains the only guarding security company in the United States to be certified by Great Place to Work.
