Maintenance EngineerJoin our dynamic team as a Maintenance Engineer at The Lowline Hotel, where you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation and upkeep of our facilities. We are seeking a dedicated professional who is committed to maintaining a safe, efficient, and welcoming environment for our guests and staff. If you have a passion for hands-on work and a strong background in maintenance trades, we encourage you to apply.Key Responsibilities:Conduct scheduled interior & exterior security patrols of both hotels and surrounding propertyMonitor security cameras, alarms, and building access systemsRespond promptly to guest, associate, and emergency situationsInvestigate and document incidents, accidents, and unusual activityEnsure all exterior doors and restricted areas remain secureComplete routine preventative maintenance inspectionsRespond to overnight maintenance requests from guests and hotel departmentsPerform minor repairs including plumbing, electrical, painting, carpentry, HVAC troubleshooting, and general building maintenanceReplace light bulbs, batteries, filters, and other routine maintenance itemsAssist with room out of order repairs to return rooms to serviceAssistant guests with lockouts, luggage assistance, or other overnight needsCommunicate effectively with Front Desk, Housekeeping, and hotel leadership regarding overnight activitiesAll other duties as assigned by hotel leadershipRequirements:Experience in a hotel or related hospitality environment preferredHigh School diploma or equivalent preferred.Trade license in plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, or related field preferredValid driver's license for the applicable region or propertyStrong problem-solving skills and attention to detailAbility to work independently and as part of a teamExcellent communication skills and a customer service-oriented attitudeAbility to perform physical tasks and work in various environmental conditionsAbility to work well as part of a team and follow instructions.Ability to work weekends and holidays.We foster a collaborative and growth-oriented culture, offering opportunities for professional development and a comprehensive benefits package.
