Security Officer 1Lucky Dog Casino - Shelton, WASalary Range $20.38 - $20.38 Hourly Job Shift AnyDescriptionThe Security Officer ensures that all phases of security are adequate throughout the facility and reports such information to the Lead Security Supervisor or Security Manager on a regular basis.Essential Duties And ResponsibilitiesEnforce Skokomish regulatory laws and requirements.Complete and file Security Incident Reports to the Security Manager.Maintain constant vigilance to ensure the safety of customers, employees, and company property.Keep job duties in compliance with internal controls to prevent security staff from performing functions which are incompatible with Casino operations.Access Tribal Lottery Systems (TLS) machines to perform money drops and assist customers.Meet attendance guidelines by reporting to work as scheduled with dependability and consistency.Represent the company in a positive manner.Maintain professional dress standards and personal appearance as dictated by the policy manual.Other duties as assigned.Officer ResponsibilitiesObserve and report matters pertaining to the safety of customers and employees.QualificationsTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Minimum of one year of security experience. One year of previous experience in Tribal Law Enforcement, Military or Civilian Police preferred.Language SkillsRead, write, speak and understand English. Analyze and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, analytical reports, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Write reports, business correspondence and procedure manuals. Organizational, interpersonal relation skills and a team-oriented attitude are required.Mathematical SkillsBasic to advanced mathematical concepts as it pertains to accurate report writing.Computer SkillsFamiliarity with Microsoft Office Suite applications is preferred.Reasoning AbilityApply commonsense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form. Deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.Certificates, Licenses, RegistrationsClass III Gaming License issued from the Skokomish Tribal Gaming Agency, and a valid Washington State Drivers License.Physical DemandsThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
