Security OfficerSibanye-Stillwater is hiring a Security Officer to join our 2nd Shift team at our Fairless Hills facility. If you're reliable, observant, safety-focused, and looking for a security position where you can stay active instead of sitting behind a desk all shift, we want to hear from you. This is a full-time, Monday-through-Friday position with a consistent 2:00 PM–10:00 PM schedule —no rotating shifts.What Your Day Will Look LikeOur Security Officers play an active role in helping maintain a safe and secure workplace. Throughout your shift, you'll:Control facility access and verify employees, contractors, and visitors.Patrol the facility and complete routine security checks.Monitor cameras, alarms, and surveillance systems.Screen individuals and packages using security equipment.Operate metal detectors, handheld scanners, and X-ray equipment.Assist with visitor check-in and escorts.Respond to alarms and security-related incidents.Communicate with team members by radio and telephone.Complete incident reports and required security documentation.Who We're Looking ForWe're looking for someone who is dependable, alert, professional, and comfortable interacting with people in an active industrial environment. You'll need:High School Diploma or GED.Strong communication and observation skills.Basic computer skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Prior security experience is a plus.Military or law enforcement experience is preferred.Position DetailsPay: $21.50 per hour Shift: 2nd Shift Schedule: Monday through Friday Hours: 2:00 PM – 10:00 PM Location: Fairless Hills, PA Employment: Full-Time, Onsite Rotating Shifts: NoneWhat We OfferMedical, dental, and vision coverage after 30 days.401(k) with company match after six months.Paid time off.Company holidays.Safety shoe allowance.Company-sponsored events and team activities.A Few Position RequirementsThis is an active, onsite security position. Candidates must be able to stand and walk for extended periods, bend, conduct searches of persons and packages, and lift up to 50 lbs. when needed.
