As an Access Control Officer at a chemical/petrochemical location, you will help manage entry points, verify credentials, monitor access activity, and support a secure environment for personnel and visitors. Join Allied Universal's agile, reliable, innovative team, where a caring culture, teamwork, and integrity come first.Position Type: Part TimePay Rate: $14.94 / HourTWIC REQUIREDJob Schedule:Day TimeMon 04:00 AM - 08:00 AMTue 04:00 AM - 08:00 AMWed 04:00 AM - 08:00 AMThur 04:00 AM - 08:00 AMWhat You'll Do:Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, contractors, and/or drivers by carrying out site-specific access-control procedures, policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a chemical/petrochemical location.Verify credentials, authorize entry in accordance with established procedures, maintain visitor and contractor records, and direct authorized individuals to appropriate areas.Monitor access points, gates, and/or entry systems; identify unauthorized access attempts; and promptly report security-related concerns to site leadership and/or Allied Universal supervision.Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site-specific response protocols and escalation procedures.Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned access-control areas, surrounding business locations, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify potential security-related concerns.Minimum Requirements:Possess a TSA-issued TWIC.Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.Customer service experience is preferred.Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.Why Join Us:Smart Tools: Access to our exclusive technology to view and claim additional shifts to earn more.Career Growth: Get paid training and access to career growth opportunities.Financial Benefits: Participate in our retirement savings plan to invest in your future.Exclusive Perks: Enjoy discounts on top brands and services through our Perks Program.Allied Universal® is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
