As an Access Control Officer at a food and beverage location, you will help manage entry points, verify credentials, monitor access activity, and support a welcoming environment for employees and visitors. You will maintain a visible presence, communicate professionally, and help deter incidents while representing Allied Universal's agile, reliable, innovative, and people-first culture. This is a driving position requiring a valid driver's license.Position Type: Full TimePay Rate: $17.25 / HourJob Schedule:Day TimeMon 11:00 PM - 07:00 AMThur 11:00 PM - 07:00 AMFri 11:00 PM - 07:00 AMSat 11:00 PM - 07:00 AMSun 11:00 PM - 07:00 AMWhat You'll Do:Provide customer service to employees, visitors, drivers, and vendors at a food and beverage production location by carrying out site-specific access-control procedures, policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.Monitor entry and exit points, verify identification and authorization, issue visitor credentials, and maintain accurate access-related logs and records.Control access for delivery personnel, contractors, and vehicles in accordance with established facility procedures, including directing individuals to designated check-in areas.Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, promptly communicating observations to appropriate site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, parking areas, and the facility perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.Minimum Requirements:A valid driver's license is required in the state where the job is located.At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.Customer service experience is preferred.Loss prevention experience is preferred.Access control and badge experience is preferred.Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.Why Join Us:Smart Tools: Access to our exclusive technology to view and claim additional shifts to earn more.Career Growth: Get paid training and access to career growth opportunities.Financial and Health Benefits: Enjoy access to a retirement savings plan, plus medical, dental, vision, basic life and AD&D, and disability insurance.Exclusive Perks: Enjoy discounts on top brands and services through our Perks Program.ClosingAllied Universal® is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
