You will help manage entry points, verify credentials, assist visitors and staff, monitor access activity, and maintain a professional, welcoming presence. Be part of an agile, reliable, and innovative team that puts people first, works together, and acts with integrity.Position Type: Part TimePay Rate: $17.50 - $18.50 / HourJob Schedule:DayTime Wed 04:00 PM - 12:00 AM Thur 04:00 PM - 12:00 AMWhat You'll Do:Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and/or contractors by carrying out access control procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.Monitor and control access to healthcare facility entrances, restricted areas, and/or designated visitor access points in accordance with established procedures.Verify visitor, staff, contractor, and/or vendor credentials; issue and collect temporary access badges as directed by site procedures.Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and document activities as required.Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned entrances, access points, and surrounding areas to help deter unauthorized entry and identify security-related concerns.Minimum Requirements:At least one year of security-related experience is required.Access control and badge experience is preferred.Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.Customer service experience is preferred.Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.Why Join Us:Smart Tools: Access to our exclusive technology to view and claim additional shifts to earn more.Career Growth: Get paid training and access to career growth opportunities.Financial Benefits: Participate in our retirement savings plan to invest in your future.Exclusive Perks: Enjoy discounts on top brands and services through our Perks Program.Licensed by the New York State Department of StateAllied Universal® is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
