We are seeking dedicated individuals to become part of our team in the Bronx, where you can make a difference every day.Shifts Available:40-hour schedule: Friday–Monday 2-10PM (Afternoon Shift) and Tuesday 10PM-6AM (Overnight Shift)As a Customer Service Security Officer, your primary responsibility will be to provide JSB standard customer service while ensuring the safety and well-being of our clients, customers, employees, visitors, and guests. You will be the face of our organization, maintaining a professional demeanor and presenting yourself with confidence and poise.Key Responsibilities:Assist visitors, provide directions, and deter loiteringRespond immediately to emergencies, providing necessary support and contacting emergency services when requiredPatrol the site, ensuring a secure environmentWrite detailed incident reports and log book entriesProtect our client's and company's assets from theft, assault, fire, or other safety issuesCollaborate effectively with team members and work independently as neededRequirements:2 years of security experience and 2 years of CCTV experienceValid New York State Security Guard LicenseCPR & First Aid certificationHigh School Diploma or G.E.D. requiredFlexible work schedule, including weekendsStrong and consistent work ethicExcellent verbal and written communication skillsCommand of the English language and ability to communicate clearlyProficiency in using smartphones and tabletsProfessional demeanor and appearanceMinimum age requirement of 18 years old (or as per state regulations)Authorized to legally work in the United StatesSuccessful completion of a drug test with negative resultsPass an extensive background check, including criminal history, personal references, employment and education verification, as well as Department of Motor Vehicle and credit checks, if applicableIf prior military, must be able to provide a DD214 discharge document with discharge status indicated, upon job offerBenefits Available:401k / Retirement PlanHealthcare coverage for you and your dependentsDental coverageVision coveragePaid Vacation to recharge and relaxSick Time to take care of yourself when neededJoin our team and be part of a company with a rich heritage and decades of success.
