As an Access Control Officer at a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will help manage entry points, verify authorized access, and maintain a visible presence that helps deter incidents. You will provide professional customer service, communicate clearly with employees and visitors, and use computer or tablet systems to document access-related activity. Join Allied Universal's agile, reliable team, where people come first and integrity guides every interaction.Position Type: Part TimePay Rate: $19.50 / HourJob Schedule:DayTime Sat 08:00 AM - 04:00 PMSun 08:00 AM - 04:00 PMWhat You'll Do:Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access control policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.Monitor access points, verify credentials, maintain visitor and contractor entry records, and control entry and exit in accordance with site requirements.Respond to access control alarms, unauthorized entry attempts, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.Monitor cameras, access control systems, and other security-related equipment; report irregularities and document incidents according to site procedures.Conduct regular and random patrols of designated areas, including entry points, business spaces, and the perimeter, to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.Minimum Requirements:At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.Customer service experience is preferred.Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.Why Join Us:Smart Tools: Access to our exclusive technology to view and claim additional shifts to earn more.Career Growth: Get paid training and access to career growth opportunities.Financial Benefits: Participate in our retirement savings plan to invest in your future.Exclusive Perks: Enjoy discounts on top brands and services through our Perks Program.ClosingAllied Universal® is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
