As an Access Control Officer at a logistics and distribution location, you will help manage entry and exit points, verify credentials, monitor activity, and support a secure environment for employees, visitors, and operations. You will provide exceptional customer service, maintain clear communication, and help address security-related concerns with integrity. Join Allied Universal's agile, reliable, and innovative team, where a caring culture and teamwork put people first.Position Type: Part TimePay Rate: $18.00 / HourJob Schedule:DayTimeWed11:00 PM - 07:00 AMThur11:00 PM - 07:00 AMWhat You'll Do:Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and/or employees by carrying out site-specific access control procedures, security-related policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.Monitor and control access points by verifying credentials, documenting visitor and contractor entry, issuing authorized access materials, and directing delivery personnel to designated areas.Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating information to appropriate site contacts and/or emergency responders as directed.Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, loading areas, parking areas, and the business perimeter to help identify unauthorized activity, facility concerns, and security-related irregularities.Maintain accurate logs, reports, and incident documentation in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific procedures.Minimum Requirements:Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.Why Join Us:Smart Tools: Access to our exclusive technology to view and claim additional shifts to earn more.Career Growth: Get paid training and access to career growth opportunities.Financial Benefits: Participate in our retirement savings plan to invest in your future.Exclusive Perks: Enjoy discounts on top brands and services through our Perks Program.Allied Universal® is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
