As an Access Control Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will help manage entry points, verify access credentials, monitor visitor activity, and support a welcoming environment for employees and guests. You will use technology to document activity, communicate professionally, and help address security-related concerns. Join Allied Universal and contribute through teamwork, integrity, reliability, and a people-first culture.Position Type: Full TimePay Rate: $19.54 / HourJob Schedule:Day TimeMon 02:00 PM - 10:00 PMTue 02:00 PM - 10:00 PMWed 02:00 PM - 10:00 PMThur 02:00 PM - 10:00 PMFri 02:00 PM - 10:00 PMWhat You'll Do:Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel while carrying out site-specific access control procedures and security-related policies at a manufacturing location.Monitor and control entry and exit points, verify credentials, issue visitor and contractor badges, and maintain accurate access-related logs and records.Respond to access control alarms, unauthorized-entry attempts, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site procedures and notifying appropriate personnel.Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned entrances, perimeter areas, parking areas, and manufacturing-related facilities to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.Support emergency response activities by directing personnel and visitors according to site-specific procedures and communicating relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and client representatives.Minimum Requirements:Have at least 6 months of security-related experience.CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.Comfortably using a computer or tablet is preferred.Customer service experience is preferred.Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.Why Join Us:Smart Tools: Access to our exclusive technology to view and claim additional shifts to earn more.Career Growth: Get paid training and access to career growth opportunities.Financial and Health Benefits: Enjoy access to a retirement savings plan, plus medical, dental, vision, basic life and AD&D, and disability insurance.Exclusive Perks: Enjoy discounts on top brands and services through our Perks Program.Allied Universal® is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
