As a Security Officer Alarm Panel Patrol Driver in Normal, IL , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Auto, and more. Join a leading team where flexibility meets opportunity. As a Part-Time Security Officer, you can build a schedule that works for you and explore new roles using our Claim a Shift platform. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic automotive location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, monitor alarm systems, and respond to security-related concerns. This driving post requires a valid driver’s license. You will deliver exceptional customer service and clear communication while supporting a caring, agile, reliable, and innovative team that acts with integrity.

Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $19.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

Mon: 09:30 PM - 06:00 AM

Thur: 05:30 AM - 02:00 PM

What You’ll Do:

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, vendors, and/or contractors at an automotive manufacturing and operations location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.

Respond to incidents, alarms, access-related concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; document observations and actions according to site procedures.

Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of production areas, parking locations, exterior grounds, entry points, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, and policy concerns.

Monitor access points and support visitor, contractor, and delivery procedures in accordance with site requirements.

Maintain clear, professional communication with site personnel, Allied Universal leadership, and emergency responders when needed.

Minimum Requirements:

A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.

Alarm panel experience is preferred.

Loss prevention experience is preferred.

Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.

Customer service experience is preferred.

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
