Security Officer - Alarm Panel OperatorAs a Security Officer - Alarm Panel Operator in Phoenix, AZ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer at a commercial real estate location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment for tenants and visitors. You will respond to alarms and security-related concerns, communicate professionally, and provide outstanding customer service. Join Allied Universal's agile, reliable, and innovative team, where caring, teamwork, and integrity guide every shift.Position Type: Full TimePay Rate: $18.53 / HourJob Schedule:Day Time Wed 02:00 PM - 10:00 PMThur 02:00 PM - 10:00 PMSat 06:00 AM - 02:00 PMSun 06:00 AM - 02:00 PMWhat You'll Do:Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, contractors, and/or client personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a commercial real estate location.Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures.Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of building interiors, exterior grounds, parking areas, loading docks, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual conditions.Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as required, and assist with directing authorized individuals in accordance with site procedures.Document patrols, incidents, observations, and other security-related activities accurately and promptly in required reports and logs.Minimum Requirements:At least 2 years of security-related experience is required.A guard card or license is preferred.Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.Alarm panel experience is preferred.The ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.Why Join Us:Smart Tools: Access to our exclusive technology to view and claim additional shifts to earn more.Career Growth: Get paid training and access to career growth opportunities.Financial and Health Benefits: Enjoy access to a retirement savings plan, plus medical, dental, vision, basic life and AD&D, and disability insurance.Exclusive Perks: Enjoy discounts on top brands and services through our Perks Program.Allied Universal® is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
