Women's Hospital Security OfficerJoin our team as an evening-shift, full-time Women's Hospital Security Officer in Albuquerque, NM.Thrive in a People-First Environment and Make Healthcare BetterThrive: We empower our team with career growth opportunities, tuition assistance, and resources that support your wellness, education, and financial well-being.People-First: We prioritize your well-being with paid time off, comprehensive health benefits, and a supportive, inclusive culture where you are valued and cared for.Make Healthcare Better: We use advanced technology to support our team and enhance patient care.Get to Know Your Team:Lovelace Women's Hospital is a 53-bed advanced neonatal intensive care unit, family care unit, an award-winning breast care center, and the first robotic surgery program in the state, recognized as a Center of Excellence in Robotic Surgery by Surgical Review Corporation.ResponsibilitiesProvides security services for assigned facilities, personnel, property, patients, visitors, and staff through foot and vehicle patrols.Conducts security inspections of facilities, grounds, access points, and critical infrastructure to ensure a safe and secure environment.Enforces organizational policies and procedures by addressing safety and security violations, including unauthorized access, loitering, smoking, and prohibited items.Provides information, directions, assistance, and escort services to patients, visitors, and staff as needed.Identifies, reports, and responds to safety and security concerns, emergencies, and hazards; coordinates with appropriate emergency response agencies.Completes reports, incident documentation, and other required records accurately and timely.Demonstrates accountability and ownership of assigned responsibilities and performs other duties as assigned.Communicates effectively with internal and external customers, actively listens, follows instructions, and shares information appropriately.Collaborates professionally with supervisors, peers, departments, patients, visitors, and staff while supporting the organization's commitment to service excellence.Operates and monitors security technologies, including CCTV systems, protection systems, access control systems, and related equipment.Successfully completes required training in de-escalation, crisis intervention, patient restraint, and patient immobilization techniques.Wears and maintains required duty equipment, including body armor, TASER, baton, handcuffs, and other issued safety equipment in accordance with department policy.QualificationsRequired QualificationsHigh School Diploma or GED equivalentValid NM Driver's license and no DUI/DWI within last five years.Preferred Qualifications1 year of security experienceHospital environment
