Job Description
As a Security Officer Armed Badge Verification in Greenville, SC , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. As an Armed Security Officer supporting an aerospace and defense location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, manage access, and respond to security-related concerns. Pay Rate: $22.00 / Hour
Job Schedule:
Day Time Mon 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM Tue 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM Wed 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM Sat 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM Sun 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM What You'll Do:
Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and vendors at an aerospace and defense location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
Conduct regular and random armed patrols of assigned facilities, restricted areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized access and report unusual conditions.
Monitor access points and verify credentials in accordance with site requirements; control entry of authorized personnel, visitors, and vehicles.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns according to site procedures.
Prepare accurate reports and maintain required documentation for patrol activities, incidents, access-control issues, and other security-related observations.
Minimum Requirements:
Possess an Armed Guard Card or license.
Have at least 3 years of security-related, law enforcement, military police, or military experience.
A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Customer service experience is preferred.
Access control and badge experience is preferred.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
