As an Armed Security Professional supporting a government location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and respond professionally to security-related concerns. This driving post offers the opportunity to provide outstanding customer service, clear communication, and dependable support while representing Allied Universal's values of agility, reliability, innovation, teamwork, caring, and integrity.Position Type: Part TimePay Rate: $22.00 / HourJob Schedule:DayTimeTue 11:00 PM - 07:00 AMSat 08:00 AM - 04:00 PMSun 04:00 PM - 12:00 AMWhat You'll Do:Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and members of the public by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a government location.Respond to incidents, public inquiries, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols.Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, public areas, parking locations, and perimeter areas; working environments and conditions may vary by assignment.Monitor access points and observe activity throughout assigned areas, reporting unusual conditions, hazards, and policy concerns to appropriate personnel.Prepare accurate activity reports and maintain clear communication with site contacts, dispatch, and Allied Universal leadership.Minimum Requirements:Possess an Armed Guard Card or License.Have at least six months of armed security-related, law enforcement, or military experience.A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.Experience with handcuffs, pepper spray, and baton is preferred.Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Participate in industry-specific security training programs.Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.Why Join Us:Smart Tools: Access to our exclusive technology to view and claim additional shifts to earn more.Career Growth: Get paid training and access to career growth opportunities.Financial Benefits: Participate in our retirement savings plan to invest in your future.Exclusive Perks: Enjoy discounts on top brands and services through our Perks Program.ClosingAllied Universal® is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
