Security Officer Armed Driver Patrol California PermitAs a Security Officer Armed Driver Patrol California Permit in Palo Alto, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries. As an Armed Security Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and deliver exceptional customer service and communication. Join an agile, reliable, and innovative team that puts people first and delivers through teamwork.Position Type: Full TimePay Rate: $40.00 / HourJob Schedule:Day TimeMon 04:00 PM - 12:00 AMTue 04:00 PM - 12:00 AMFri 08:00 AM - 04:00 PMSat 04:00 PM - 12:00 AMSun 04:00 PM - 12:00 AMWhat You'll Do:Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access protocols, and emergency response activities as appropriate.Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, grounds, entry points, and perimeter to help identify and report unusual conditions or unauthorized activity.Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures.Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed, and document observations, incidents, and patrol activity in required reports.Communicate professionally with site contacts, first responders, and Allied Universal leadership regarding security-related concerns and operational updates.Minimum Requirements:A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.Possess at least one year of armed security-related, law enforcement, or military experience.Possess an Armed Guard Card or license.Possess a 40 Caliber Endorsement.Possess a California Weapons Permit with a 9mm Caliber Endorsement.Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Participate in industry-specific security training programs.Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.Why Join Us:Smart Tools: Access to our exclusive technology to view and claim additional shifts to earn more.Career Growth: Get paid training and access to career growth opportunities.Financial and Health Benefits: Enjoy access to a retirement savings plan, plus medical, dental, vision, basic life and AD&D, and disability insurance.Exclusive Perks: Enjoy discounts on top brands and services through our Perks Program.
