As a Security Officer Armed Patrol Driver in Goldsboro, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an Armed Security Officer supporting a government location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and respond professionally to security-related concerns. This driving post offers the opportunity to provide exceptional customer service and communication while working with a team that is agile, reliable, innovative, caring, and committed to integrity.

Mon 05:45 AM - 06:00 PM; Tue 05:45 AM - 06:00 PM; Sun 05:45 AM - 06:00 PM
What You'll Do:
Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and members of the public while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at a government corrections location.
Conduct regular and random armed patrols of assigned buildings, grounds, parking areas, access points, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual conditions or unauthorized activity.
Monitor access to restricted areas, verify credentials as directed by site procedures, and document visitor, vehicle, and incident information accurately.
Respond to incidents, disturbances, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established post orders and escalation procedures.
Maintain required reports, logs, and communications with appropriate personnel, and operate assigned security-related equipment in accordance with Allied Universal and site policies.
Minimum Requirements:
Possess an armed guard card or license.
Have at least six months of armed security-related, law enforcement, or military experience.
A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
