Job Description
As a Security Officer Armed Patrol Driver in Fishersville, VA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As an Armed Security Officer at a healthcare location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and respond to security-related concerns with professionalism and care. Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Conduct regular and random armed patrols of healthcare facilities, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, coordinating with site personnel and emergency responders as needed.
Monitor access points and visitor activity, reporting suspicious conditions, hazards, and policy violations according to site procedures.
Carry and maintain authorized equipment, including firearms, in accordance with applicable laws, training requirements, and Allied Universal policies.
Minimum Requirements:
A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.
A guard card or license is preferred.
CPR certification is preferred.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
