Job Description
As a Security Officer Armed Mobile Patrol Driver in Blanch, NC , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an Armed Security Officer supporting a government corrections environment, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and respond to security-related concerns with professionalism. This driving post requires a valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal policy. Provide exceptional customer service and clear communication while working with integrity, reliability, and teamwork in a caring, people-first culture.

Pay Rate: $21.50 / Hour
Job Schedule:
Day Time Mon 05:45 PM - 06:00 AM Tue 05:45 PM - 06:00 AM Wed 05:45 PM - 06:00 AM What You'll Do:
Provide customer service to staff, visitors, and authorized personnel at a government corrections-related location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
Respond to incidents, disturbances, medical events, and other critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and following established reporting procedures.
Conduct regular and random armed patrols of assigned buildings, grounds, access points, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
Monitor access to restricted areas, verify authorization of individuals entering or exiting the location, and maintain awareness of movement within assigned areas.
Prepare accurate daily activity reports, incident reports, and other required documentation in accordance with site policies and Allied Universal procedures.
Minimum Requirements:
A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
An Armed Guard Card/License is preferred.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
