You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, respond to situations with professionalism, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. This role requires an armed guard card/license and offers the opportunity to contribute through teamwork, integrity, reliability, and a people-first culture.Position Type: Part TimePay Rate: $33.70 / HourJob Schedule:DayTimeFri11:00 PM - 07:00 AMSat11:00 PM - 07:00 AMWhat You'll Do:Provide customer service to visitors, employees, contractors, and members of the public at a government transportation location while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and policies.Conduct regular and random armed patrols of assigned facilities, transit-adjacent areas, entry points, parking areas, and perimeters to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, and access concerns.Monitor access points and verify authorized entry in accordance with post orders, using professional communication and escalating concerns through established reporting channels.Respond to incidents, alarms, medical situations, and other critical events in a calm, problem-solving manner, following emergency response procedures and coordinating with appropriate personnel and public agencies.Prepare clear and accurate activity reports, incident documentation, and shift logs, and maintain required post equipment in accordance with applicable policies and procedures.Minimum Requirements:Possess a valid concealed carry weapons permit.Possess a valid armed guard card or license.Possess a valid law enforcement officer license.Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Participate in industry-specific security training programs.Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.Why Join Us:Smart Tools: Access to our exclusive technology to view and claim additional shifts to earn more.Career Growth: Get paid training and access to career growth opportunities.Financial Benefits: Participate in our retirement savings plan to invest in your future.Exclusive Perks: Enjoy discounts on top brands and services through our Perks Program.Allied Universal® is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
