Job Schedule:
Day Time Mon 05:45 AM - 06:00 PM Tue 05:45 AM - 06:00 PM What You'll Do:
Provide customer service to staff, residents, visitors, and other authorized individuals by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at a correctional location.
Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established protocols and notifying appropriate personnel.
Conduct regular and random armed patrols of assigned buildings, housing areas, grounds, access points, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity.
Monitor access to controlled areas, verify authorization of individuals entering or leaving the location, and report suspicious activity or policy violations.
Prepare clear and accurate reports of incidents, observations, patrol activities, and security-related concerns in accordance with site procedures.
Minimum Requirements:
A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
An armed guard card/license is preferred.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
