At Allied Universal, you will contribute through teamwork, integrity, reliability, agility, and innovation in a caring culture that puts people first.Position Type: Part TimePay Rate: $18.84 / HourJob Schedule:DayTimeMon 06:00 PM - 06:00 AMTue 06:00 PM - 06:00 AMWhat You'll Do:Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and members of the public at a government facility by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.Staff the front desk, greet and direct visitors, verify identification and access authorization, issue visitor credentials, and maintain visitor logs in accordance with site procedures.Monitor entry points, alarms, cameras, and other security-related systems from a stationary post, reporting unusual activity or access concerns to appropriate personnel.Respond to incidents, questions, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures.Maintain accurate records of visitor activity, incidents, deliveries, and other front-desk operations, while communicating professionally with site personnel and emergency responders as needed.Minimum Requirements:Possess at least 3 years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience, or a college degree.Possess at least 1 year of armed security-related, law enforcement, or military experience.Possess at least 1 year of law enforcement experience, 2 years of security-related supervisor or manager experience, or 3 years of security-related experience.Possess an Armed Guard Card or license.Possess a college degree.Possess at least 5 years of security-related experience.Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Participate in industry-specific security training programs.Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.Why Join Us:Smart Tools: Access to our exclusive technology to view and claim additional shifts to earn more.Career Growth: Get paid training and access to career growth opportunities.Financial Benefits: Participate in our retirement savings plan to invest in your future.Exclusive Perks: Enjoy discounts on top brands and services through our Perks Program.Allied Universal® is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
