As an Armed Security Officer supporting a technology, media, and telecommunications environment, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support access control activities. This requirement is in place to ensure compliance with legal regulations and to maintain a responsible workforce.Security Experience: Candidates must possess a minimum of one year of security experience (C115). This experience should be relevant to the position being applied for and may include roles in law enforcement, private security, or related fields.Act 235 Qualification (Pennsylvania Only): Candidates applying for positions in Pennsylvania must have completed the Act 235 qualification (C134). This certification is necessary for individuals who will be carrying firearms as part of their job responsibilities.Access Control/Badge Experience (B201): Candidates should have prior experience with access control systems and badge management. This includes familiarity with issuing, tracking, and managing access badges for employees and visitors.Comfortable Using Computer or Tablet (B204): Proficiency in using computers or tablets is essential. Candidates should demonstrate the ability to navigate software applications, manage emails, and utilize digital tools effectively.Customer Service Experience (B219): A background in customer service is required. Candidates should possess strong communication skills and the ability to interact positively with clients and colleagues.Lift Up to 20 lbs (B208): Candidates must be physically capable of lifting and carrying items weighing up to 20 pounds as part of their job responsibilities.Valid Firearms Permit (B217): For positions that require handling firearms, candidates must possess a valid firearms permit.
