Job Description
As a Security Officer Armed Patrol Driver Badge Verification in Nashville, TN , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Utilities, and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer at a utilities location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, monitor access points, and respond to security-related concerns. This driving post requires a valid driver's license. Deliver outstanding customer service and clear communication while supporting Allied Universal’s agile, reliable, innovative, and people-first culture through teamwork and integrity.

Day Time Mon 12:00 AM - 08:00 AM Tue 12:00 AM - 08:00 AM Wed 12:00 AM - 08:00 AM Thur 12:00 AM - 08:00 AM Fri 12:00 AM - 08:00 AM What You'll Do:
Provide customer service to personnel, contractors, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at a utility location.
Conduct regular and random armed patrols of facility grounds, buildings, critical infrastructure areas, and perimeter locations; document observations and report unusual conditions.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established post orders and escalation protocols.
Monitor access points, verify credentials as authorized, and help to deter unauthorized entry to restricted areas.
Carry authorized equipment in accordance with applicable laws, licensing requirements, Allied Universal policies, and site-specific post orders.
Minimum Requirements:
At least one year of armed security-related, law enforcement, and/or military experience is required.
A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Access control and badge experience is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.
An armed guard card or license is preferred.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
