As an Armed Security Officer supporting a dynamic aerospace and defense location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and respond professionally to evolving situations. Join Allied Universal's agile, reliable, and innovative team, where a caring culture and teamwork put people first.Position Type: Full TimePay Rate: $25.70 / HourJob Schedule:Day TimeMon 03:00 PM - 11:00 PMTue 03:00 PM - 11:00 PMSat 07:00 AM - 03:00 PMSun 07:00 AM - 03:00 PMWhat You'll Do:Provide customer service to personnel and visitors while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location.Conduct regular and random armed patrols of assigned buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, and policy violations.Monitor access points, verify credentials, maintain visitor and vehicle entry records, and report access-related concerns in accordance with site procedures.Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate site contacts and public emergency responders as directed.Maintain required armed post qualifications, carry assigned equipment in accordance with applicable laws and site procedures, and complete accurate incident and daily activity reports.Minimum Requirements:An armed guard card or license is required.An active DoD Secret Clearance is required.A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.Experience with handcuffs, pepper spray, and baton is preferred.Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Participate in industry-specific security training programs.Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.Why Join Us:Smart Tools: Access to our exclusive technology to view and claim additional shifts to earn more.Career Growth: Get paid training and access to career growth opportunities.Financial and Health Benefits: Enjoy access to a retirement savings plan, plus medical, dental, vision, basic life and AD&D, and disability insurance.Exclusive Perks: Enjoy discounts on top brands and services through our Perks Program.ClosingAllied Universal® is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
