As an Armed Security Officer, you will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and respond to security-related concerns at a dynamic location. Join Allied Universal's agile, reliable team, where a caring culture, innovation, teamwork, and integrity guide every shift.Position Type: Full TimePay Rate: $40.00 / HourJob Schedule:Day TimeMon 04:00 PM - 12:00 AMTue 04:00 PM - 12:00 AMWed 04:00 PM - 12:00 AMSat 04:00 PM - 12:00 AMSun 04:00 PM - 12:00 AMWhat You'll Do:Provide customer service to clients, employees, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.Respond to incidents, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.Conduct regular and random patrols of office spaces, building exteriors, parking areas, and the surrounding perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity or maintenance concerns.Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site procedures, maintaining accurate logs and escalating concerns to appropriate personnel.Support a professional environment by communicating clearly with site contacts, visitors, and Allied Universal leadership.Minimum Requirements:A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.Have at least 1 year of armed security-related, law enforcement, or military experience.Possess an Armed Guard Card or License.Possess a 40 Caliber Endorsement.Possess a California Weapons Permit with a 9mm Caliber Endorsement.Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Participate in industry-specific security training programs.Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.Why Join Us:Smart Tools: Access to our exclusive technology to view and claim additional shifts to earn more.Career Growth: Get paid training and access to career growth opportunities.Financial and Health Benefits: Enjoy access to a retirement savings plan, plus medical, dental, vision, basic life and AD&D, and disability insurance.Exclusive Perks: Enjoy discounts on top brands and services through our Perks Program.
