As an Armed Security Professional supporting a government corrections location, you will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and respond to security-related concerns. This driving role requires a valid driver's license. Deliver exceptional customer service and clear communication while upholding Allied Universal's values of agility, reliability, innovation, teamwork, caring, and integrity.Position Type: Full TimePay Rate: $21.50 / HourJob Schedule:DayTimeFri05:45 PM - 06:00 AMSat05:45 PM - 06:00 AMSun05:45 PM - 06:00 AMWhat You'll Do:Provide customer service to staff, visitors, and/or members of the public while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at a government corrections location.Conduct regular and random armed patrols of assigned buildings, grounds, perimeter areas, access points, and parking areas to help identify unusual activity, unauthorized access, and/or potential hazards.Respond to incidents, disturbances, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established post orders and reporting requirements.Monitor access points and verify credentials as assigned, helping to maintain controlled entry and exit for authorized personnel, visitors, and vehicles.Prepare accurate reports and communicate observations, incidents, and concerns to appropriate site contacts, Allied Universal leadership, and/or responding public service personnel.Minimum Requirements:A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.An armed guard card/license is preferred.Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Participate in industry-specific security training programs.Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.Why Join Us:Smart Tools: Access to our exclusive technology to view and claim additional shifts to earn more.Career Growth: Get paid training and access to career growth opportunities.Financial and Health Benefits: Enjoy access to a retirement savings plan, plus medical, dental, vision, basic life and AD&D, and disability insurance.Exclusive Perks: Enjoy discounts on top brands and services through our Perks Program.ClosingAllied Universal® is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
