Security Officer Armed Patrol Driver State LicenseAs a Security Officer Armed Patrol Driver State License in San Jose, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer supporting a public transportation location, you will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, respond to situations, and provide exceptional customer service. This driving post offers the opportunity to support riders, employees, and facilities while working with a reliable, innovative team that puts people first and acts with integrity.Position Type: Full TimePay Rate: $25.34 / HourJob Schedule:DayTimeMon 04:00 PM - 12:00 AMThur 04:00 PM - 12:00 AMFri 04:00 PM - 12:00 AMSat 04:00 PM - 12:00 AMSun 04:00 PM - 12:00 AMWhat You'll Do:Provide customer service to passengers, employees, contractors, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at public transportation locations.Respond to incidents, service disruptions, medical events, and other critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures.Conduct regular and random armed patrols of transit facilities, platforms, parking areas, administrative spaces, vehicle yards, and surrounding perimeters to help deter unauthorized activity.Monitor access points and observe activity throughout assigned locations, reporting suspicious behavior, hazards, and policy violations to appropriate personnel.Maintain required documentation, including incident reports, patrol logs, and shift activity reports, while coordinating with Allied Universal leadership and local authorities as needed.Minimum Requirements:A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.Possess at least one year of armed security-related, law enforcement, or military experience.Possess an armed guard card or license.Possess a 40 caliber endorsement.Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Participate in industry-specific security training programs.Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.Why Join Us:Smart Tools: Access to our exclusive technology to view and claim additional shifts to earn more.Career Growth: Get paid training and access to career growth opportunities.Financial and Health Benefits: Enjoy access to a retirement savings plan, plus medical, dental, vision, basic life and AD&D, and disability insurance.Exclusive Perks: Enjoy discounts on top brands and services through our Perks Program.Allied Universal® is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
