As an Armed Patrol Officer at a retail location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and respond professionally to situations as they arise. You will provide exceptional customer service and clear communication while supporting a welcoming environment for shoppers and employees. Join Allied Universal's agile, reliable, and innovative team, where a caring culture, teamwork, and integrity guide every shift.Position Type: Full TimePay Rate: $27.00 / HourJob Schedule:DayTimeWed03:00 PM - 01:00 AMThur03:00 PM - 01:00 AMFri03:00 PM - 01:00 AMSat03:00 PM - 01:00 AMWhat You'll Do:Provide customer service to clients, store associates, and visitors by carrying out armed security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following site procedures and applicable laws.Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout retail sales areas, parking lots, loading areas, and the business perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.Observe and report suspicious activity, policy violations, hazards, and other security-related concerns to site leadership and appropriate authorities.Maintain required documentation, including patrol logs, incident reports, and daily activity reports, while handling assigned equipment in accordance with training and company policy.Minimum Requirements:CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.A valid firearms permit is preferred.Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.Experience using handcuffs, pepper spray, and/or a baton is preferred.An Armed Guard Card or License is preferred.Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Participate in industry-specific security training programs.Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.Why Join Us:Smart Tools: Access to our exclusive technology to view and claim additional shifts to earn more.Career Growth: Get paid training and access to career growth opportunities.Financial and Health Benefits: Enjoy access to a retirement savings plan, plus medical, dental, vision, basic life and AD&D, and disability insurance.Exclusive Perks: Enjoy discounts on top brands and services through our Perks Program.ClosingAllied Universal® is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
