As an Armed Security Officer in a healthcare setting, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and staff. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate clearly, and respond professionally to site needs. Join Allied Universal, where our agile, reliable, innovative teams put people first and act with integrity.Position Type: Part TimePay Rate: $47.74 / HourJob Schedule:DayTime Thur 02:00 PM - 08:00 PM Fri 08:00 AM - 08:00 PM Sun 09:00 AM - 06:00 PMWhat You'll Do:Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities in a healthcare location.Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols.Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols throughout the facility, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity or conditions.Monitor access points and visitor activity, assist with directions, and support a professional and welcoming environment for patients and visitors.Document incidents, observations, and patrol activity accurately and promptly, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site personnel.Minimum Requirements:Possess a valid Concealed Carry Weapons Permit.Have at least one year of security-related experience.Possess a valid armed guard card or license.Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Participate in industry-specific security training programs.Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.Why Join Us:Smart Tools: Access to our exclusive technology to view and claim additional shifts to earn more.Career Growth: Get paid training and access to career growth opportunities.Financial Benefits: Participate in our retirement savings plan to invest in your future.Exclusive Perks: Enjoy discounts on top brands and services through our Perks Program.ClosingAllied Universal® is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
