Job Description
As a Security Officer Armed Patrol Operations in Cincinnati, OH , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Armed Patrol Officer supporting a financial institution location. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, respond to security-related concerns, and provide professional customer service and communication. Pay Rate: $28.00 / Hour
Job Schedule:
Day Time Mon 06:30 AM - 06:30 PM Tue 06:30 AM - 06:30 PM Fri 02:00 PM - 11:00 PM What You'll Do:
Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees at a financial institution by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
Respond to incidents, alarms, suspicious activity, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established escalation and reporting procedures.
Conduct regular and random armed patrols of the facility, access points, parking areas, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
Monitor access to restricted areas, verify credentials as required, and maintain awareness of visitor and employee activity in accordance with site policies.
Complete accurate incident reports, daily activity logs, and other required documentation; communicate relevant security-related information to site leadership and Allied Universal management.
Minimum Requirements:
Possess at least 2 years of experience in law enforcement, military police, and/or corrections.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
