Security Officer Armed Patrol DeescalationAs a Security Officer Armed Patrol Deescalation in Reston, VA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer in a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and respond to situations with professionalism and care. You will support patients, visitors, and staff through exceptional customer service and clear communication while representing Allied Universal's agile, reliable, innovative, and integrity-driven culture.Position Type: Part TimePay Rate: $21.74 / HourJob Schedule:DayTimeSat07:00 AM - 07:00 PMSun07:00 AM - 07:00 PMWhat You'll Do:Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities.Conduct regular and random armed patrols of healthcare facilities, parking areas, and surrounding perimeters to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, or access concerns.Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, and other critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following site protocols and applicable laws.Monitor access points and assist with visitor management, directing individuals to appropriate areas while maintaining awareness of restricted locations.Prepare clear, accurate reports regarding incidents, observations, patrol activities, and interactions with patients, visitors, and staff.Minimum Requirements:Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.Possess an armed guard card or license.Possess a DCJS license in Virginia.Customer service experience is preferred.Experience with handcuffs, pepper spray, and/or a baton is preferred.Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Participate in industry-specific security training programs.Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.Why Join Us:Smart Tools: Access to our exclusive technology to view and claim additional shifts to earn more.Career Growth: Get paid training and access to career growth opportunities.Financial Benefits: Participate in our retirement savings plan to invest in your future.Exclusive Perks: Enjoy discounts on top brands and services through our Perks Program.Allied Universal® is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
