Security Officer Armed Patrol ResponseAs a Security Officer Armed Patrol Response in Nashville, TN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer at a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, respond to security-related concerns, and provide outstanding customer service. You will support a welcoming environment through clear communication, sound judgment, and professionalism while representing Allied Universal's agile, reliable, innovative, caring, and integrity-driven culture.Position Type: Full TimePay Rate: $23.00 / HourJob Schedule:DayTimeMon 12:30 PM - 08:30 PMTue 12:30 PM - 08:30 PMThur 12:30 PM - 08:30 PMFri 11:30 AM - 07:30 PMSat 08:30 AM - 04:30 PMWhat You'll Do:Provide customer service to visitors, employees, contractors, and guests by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control protocols, and emergency response activities at a technology, media, and telecommunications location.Respond to incidents, alarms, medical situations, and other critical events in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate site contacts and/or emergency responders as directed.Conduct regular and random armed patrols of buildings, grounds, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.Monitor access points, verify credentials, and control entry and exit of personnel, visitors, vehicles, and deliveries in accordance with site policies.Prepare accurate reports and maintain required documentation regarding patrols, incidents, observations, and security-related activities.Minimum Requirements:Possess at least one year of armed security-related, law enforcement, or military experience.An armed guard card or license is preferred.Experience with handcuffs, pepper spray, and/or a baton is preferred.Customer service experience is preferred.Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Participate in industry-specific security training programs.Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.Why Join Us:Smart Tools: Access to our exclusive technology to view and claim additional shifts to earn more.Career Growth: Get paid training and access to career growth opportunities.Financial and Health Benefits: Enjoy access to a retirement savings plan, plus medical, dental, vision, basic life and AD&D, and disability insurance.Exclusive Perks: Enjoy discounts on top brands and services through our Perks Program.Allied Universal® is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
